Submission Guidelines

1. Prepare your paper

2. Upload the paper in ASSYST (download instructions in PDF format)

  • Register for an ASSYST account
     
  • Submit Paper

3. Register for the Conference

If your paper was accepted, you will be asked to Register.
  • One author for each paper must register at a non-student rate, even if all authors are students.
  • One registration covers two papers for those authors who have multiple papers accepted.
  • Please go to the Registration page to register for the conference.
  • IMPORTANT: Your paper will not be included in the proceedings unless you have successfully registered.

Camera-Ready submission guidelines in ASSYST

In order to upload your camera-ready paper you must register first. Without registering first, you will not be able to upload your camera-ready paper.

1. Please, register to the conference. Note that without registering first (via the conference website), you will not be able to upload your camera-ready paper.

2. Log in to ASSYST with the password you have received from the system. If you cannot find or remember your password, please use the “Reset Password” function.

3. Once you have logged in, please go to “My Profile” in the main menu and fill out all the mandatory fields of your profile. Without completing this step, the system will not let you proceed. If you already filled in your profile in the system previously, this step is not required.

4. After filling out all the fields in “My Profile” please, click on SAVE. You cannot go further without filling out all the mandatory fields.

5. Select the conference/ workshop from the list, where you want to submit your camera ready paper.

6. Click on “Upload Camera Ready Paper”.

7. Please, provide information on your paper, such as Title, Abstract and Keywords. Click on NEXT.

8. On the next page please, add all the co-authors of your paper by clicking on “Add Additional Authors”. After you have added all the co-authors, please, click on NEXT.

9. Copyright:

  • After registration, you will be redirected to IEEE electronic copyright wizard.
  • You begin by responding to the interactive Wizard, which was designed to be very simple and convenient. After you've finished answering the Wizard's easy questions, you will be transferred to one of three form
    1. the IEEE Copyright Form
    2. the US Government Employee Certification Form, or
    3. the Crown Government Employee Certification Form.
You can also print the text by clicking on “Print” button.
  • Once you've read the information on the Form, and confirmed that it is the correct Form for you, all you need to do is type in your name and date in the boxes at the bottom. Once you click on the "Submit" button, the process will be completed, and you will automatically receive a copy of the signed Form via e-mail.
  • After you complete the Wizard, you will be redirected back to ASSYST and they can procceed to point 10.

ChinaCom2009 FAQ

1."I have been trying to upload my camera-ready paper but I get a page that says "You dont have permission to view this page." What should I do?"

Please register first ( http://www.chinacom.org/2009/regis.html ), then you will be able to upload your paper.

Please also make sure you login with the right e-mail address, the one you received from ICST ASSYST.

2. "the order of authors is not correct"

The order of the authors should be the same in ASSYST as in your paper.

To change the order of authors please follow these steps:

Go to http://assyst-online.org/proceedings

Login (with the right e-mail address, the one you received from ICST ASSYST)

Select your conference / track

"Manage my papers"

"View"

On the right side you find a "Edit/upload" button.

Next to the authors' names you will see an arrow. If you click on it, you can modify the order.

The copyright agreement comes up again first, please accept.

3. you need to add an author

Please follow the same steps, as mentioned above, by "Edit/upload" - you will find the option

4. " When I review my papers in “view My Papers”, I find there is also information about the version which belongs to my uploading failure.

 Will the version of failure with paper ID impact on the normal upload record? "

No, it does not affect the correct paper. All the started "papers" without any PDF attachment will be deleted once the camera ready session is closed.

5. Please note that one registration allows you to upload maximum 2 papers.
